Booking
Conditions :
1. Deposit and Balance Payments
We will require a deposit to confirm your travel
arrangements as well as your completed and signed
booking form. We will send you a confirmation invoice.
The deposit is non-refundable, except for the
circumstances laid out under alterations to bookings and
if we cancel your holiday, and forms part of your
holiday payment. It is then that a firm contract exists
between you and Jordan tours & travel Inc. The
confirmation will show the cost of your holiday and
gives the date by which the balance must be paid. This
date will be 10 weeks prior to departure. Any monies
paid by you to bona fide travel agents will be held by
them in express trust on your behalf as agents for
Jordan tours & travel Inc.. In accepting your payment your
travel agent acknowledges and accepts this trust and is
witnessed by their stamp attached to this form.
The amount shown on the invoice
should be paid and if it is not received by the due date
we reserve the right to cancel all arrangements. For
bookings made witihn10 weeks of departure, full payment
must be made at the time of booking. Insurance premiums
should be paid in addition to the deposit payment. It is
a condition of booking that all passengers must have
adequate travel insurance.
If we arrange to book non refundable
scheduled airline or charter tickets which have to be
paid for in accordance with applicable fare rules of the
booking, then that sum will be taken in addition to your
deposit and will be subject to those fare rules.

match exactly with names as they appear in the passports
of the people who are traveling. You must also check

will be made and you will be liable to pay for any
increases occasioned by such a change.

Should you or any member of your party have to cancel,
it will be necessary to advise us in writing.

You should claim from your
travel insurance policy if the cancellation falls within
their terms. Insurance premiums are not refundable.

If we are forced to make any changes to your booking we
shall inform you without delay. We reserve the right to
make such changes and should such a change materially
alter the holiday then we give you the right to cancel
without charge or to accept a reasonable alternative. If
such a change does occur within 8 weeks of departure we
will pay you £20 compensation per person and if within
14 days £30 per person.
6. Force Majeure
We cannot accept liability or pay compensation where
"significant" changes, cancellation or failure to
perform any part of the contract is as a result of
"force majeure". This refers to any circumstances which
are beyond our or our suppliers control and which we
could not even with all due care foresee or avoid. Such
events include war, threat of war, terrorist activity,
threat of terrorist activity, riot, civil disobedience
or strife, natural or industrial disaster, fire, adverse
weather conditions, flooding and all similar events
outside our control. Advice from the Foreign and
Commonwealth Office not to enter an area will generally
be regarded as "force majeur"

In the unlikely event of our having to cancel your
booking we will inform you not later than 8 weeks before
departure. Compensation will be paid as laid out in
paragraph 5. If we are unable to find an alternative
which is satisfactory to you we will refund all monies
paid to us. We will not accept responsibility or
liability for consequential loss.
8. Minimum numbers on Tours
In certain circumstances we may have to cancel or ammend
a holiday if numbers do not reach an operationally
viable level. In such cases we may offer you a similar
holiday at a different price, which if not acceptable
need not be taken and a full refund will be given.

(January 2009) using the prevailing exchange rates as

surcharge if there are increases due to governmental
action, currency, aircraft fuel, flying charges, airport

regulatory body. We will absorb any increase up to 2% on
the original base confirmation invoice price and if
there is an increase of more than 10% you will be
